A state-of-the-art provider of bespoke steel solutions including buildings, bridges, rails and pipework
With the support of our state-of-the-art steel fabrication facility in Ireland, our experienced Structural Team delivers bespoke solutions across all Murphy projects. In addition to steel fabrication, we also offer pipe processing, fabrication, and mechanical services.
Our structural steel workshop currently provides 2,200m² of floor space with two 15-tonne overhead gantry cranes, two 5-tonne wall travelling cranes, and a 5-tonne gantry crane, as well as 7,000m2 of external hardstanding storage space, ensuring our capacity to handle multiple large-scale projects with ease.
In Newbridge, Ireland the 1,200m2 Carbon Pipe Fabrication facility and separate Stainless Steel facility provides pipework for the oil, gas, water and process sectors. The Testing facility supplies advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) solutions for critical infrastructure, including X-radiography, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetration Inspection (DPI), shot blasting and coating, and hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing.
Our facility is fully CE and UKCA Certified and holds welding certificates in compliance with BS EN 1090 up to Execution Class 4.

We have a dedicated team of structural engineers, draftsmen, welding inspectors, welding engineers, workshop managers, project managers, welders, fabricators, technologists and conventional non-destructive testing technicians, who provide a one-stop-shop service with the supervision and technical support necessary to ensure our work is always of the highest standards.
Our 350m² licensed X-ray and hydrostatic testing bay enables us to thoroughly test large fabrications without interference, offering real-time analysis of quality and workmanship.
We self-deliver all elements of the manufacturing process, allowing for complete control over production rates and ensuring that we can always meet project demands. We also use our facility in Ireland to carry out trial erection of any steel structures and bridges, which means we can confirm the overall assembly in advance of time-critical possessions.
