Package One – Flow North West CDP

Under the banner ‘Flow North West‘, Murphy is forming an enterprise with United Utilities, C2V (Volker Stevin/Jacobs), Costain, Kier, MMB and MWH to carry out the Project Management, Design, Construction and Commissioning of Complex Capital Projects to meet United Utilities AMP 8 and 9 regulatory commitments.

Flow North West will also support the improvement of environmental outcomes and low carbon solutions to meet affordability thresholds, embrace integrated catchment solutions, embed Minimal Viable Product, enhance the use of standard products and solutions, offsite construction, and modular build.

Package Two – Design and Build Framework Lot 2

Under this framework, Murphy is responsible for detailed design, procurement of works materials, whilst being supported by United Utilities’ logistics supplier(s) and collective purchasing capability.

On Lot 2, Murphy is covering:

Water Networks, and Water Network Pipelines, Wastewater Networks Pipelines, Pumping Stations & Storage, and Reservoirs.

  • CSO chamber installations & pump return
  • Sewer upsizing and installations
  • Screen installations
  • MEICA Installation and commissioning
  • Access Roads and Site Facilities Other construction works

A large part of the programme is linked to United Utilities’ Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) spill reduction, known as Better Rivers. The Frameworks aim to deliver this programme efficiently, working with United Utilities’ SSIP, engineering teams, and supply chain to maximise standardisation and modular solutions.
