Murphy is upgrading a 39,557m2 warehouse building to prepare it for its new tenant, a food delivery company, who have signed a 25-year lease.

The Murphy self-delivery model was a significant attraction for this new customer and the project is truly a One Murphy collaboration. Steelwork for the property has been fabricated by specialist colleagues in Ireland while teams from across the UK have provided the piling; surveying and temporary works; onsite HV works and lighting along with a power upgrade and ring main units.

The full scope for the project includes:

  • 13,675m2 cladding
  • 40,205m2 new roofing
  • 39,557m2 / 8900m3 floor slab
  • A 6,825m2 multi storey carpark (465 spaces)
  • 3,380m2 office refurb
  • 743m2 new build office (8,000sq ft)
  • 16,100m2 yard areas
  • 1,100tn of steelwork to support the internal fitout
