Project Outline Murphy has now mobilised to site on our Overhead Line Works and Services contract under a Multi-Contractors Framework Agreement for Ireland. This is the first ESB Framework for Murphy, the first MV/LV overhead works for Murphy and the first overhead line work for Murphy in Ireland. As part of this framework, Murphy will also be completing the HV overhead works for the first time. The scope of work includes the following utility construction work: Patrolling: LV Inventory Patrol, MV Urban Inventory Patrol, LV/MV Capital Inspections/Hazard programs, 20kV Conversions, 15kVA Transformer replacement program, 38kV & HV Patrolling. Low Voltage and Medium Voltage (10kV/20kV) Rural Capital Inspection follow-on works (Light Refurbishment, pole change outs and hazard clearance, 20kV conversion and pole mounted transformer replacement programmes). Make Ready works. Refurbishment / Upgrading of existing LV networks in urban environments, and associated MV works Installation of Fibre on overhead network LV and MV Projects Services works 38kV New and Refurbishment works. High Voltage New and Refurbishment works. Tower Foundations and Steelwork assembly and erection. Provision of Site Access to the works. Piling and Ground Anchors. Overhead Line design Timber Cutting Supply of materials Looking Ahead Murphy mobilised to site in July 2024 and our team has now successfully completed a one month ramp up to assure ESB of our competence to complete the works within the outage time allocated, to ESB standards and to the highest safety standards. We currently have three LV/MV crews, two poling crews, four patrollers and four trainees on the ground completing works for ESB. Our Energy team are working to build up our resources to six LV/MV crews by the end of the year and taking on larger packages of work in 2025.
