The ACORN Awards are our annual recognition event - aimed at celebrating the achievements of our colleagues who live our values. There are five awards - one for each of our values along with an additional Golden ACORN Award which is awarded to someone who has gone above and beyond in demonstrating multiple values in their actions. Now in its thirteenth year of operation, our Culture Development Programme is a core part of the Murphy experience and helps employees to understand their roles and importance as part of the wider Murphy community whilst ensuring safe project delivery. Lead by former front-line operatives the team’s involvement with colleagues begins with face-to-face induction sessions, and includes regular ‘Hub Days’, which recap the content of the induction sessions and seasonal team safety sessions.
