J. Murphy & Sons Ltd has been named as a preferred bidder by electricity network giant SSEN Transmission to deliver the c. £10bn onshore infrastructure Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) upgrade framework. The ASTI framework includes a programme of overhead lines, underground cables and substations in order to redevelop the transmission network in the north of Scotland between now and 2030.
