Murphy is pleased to offer our Sponsored Placement Student Programme geared towards Civil or Mechanical Engineering University students across the UK. Our national placement programme offers paid work experience gained on summer and industrial placements, throughout the course of university study, starting with a summer placement in 2025 with continued placements during your university studies up until you graduate. Placement students can earn a pro-rata professional salary and gain hands on experience in a leading construction business.

In addition to gaining placement experience during your studies, there is the opportunity to secure a spot on our Murphy graduate programme at the end of your degree studies, helping to lift your final year worries about graduate employment. You will be able to concentrate on your course and upcoming exams with a peace of mind that you have secured a graduate role, without the distraction of job applications.
